China's first public computing power interconnection service platform was launched during the 2024 Computing Power Internet Conference (Chongqing) in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing, on July 11.

Computing power, which integrates information computing capacity, network carrying capacity, and data storage capacity, is a new type of productivity and a crucial foundation for digitalization and intelligence.

The platform can register and measure the authenticity, availability, and utilization rate of connected computing resources, and provides trustworthy resource and service queries for computing resource providers and computing (dispatch) service providers nationwide, thereby improving supply-demand matching efficiency.

Moreover, the platform will accelerate the interconnection of computing power among various entities, strategically lay out the computing power internet, and assist in developing a nationwide integrated computing power system.

The Chongqing Computing Power Interconnection Platform was also officially unveiled on the same day. It is the first of its kind in Western China.

The first batch of computing power resources from China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, CloudWalk Technology, SenseTime, and JD Cloud have been connected to the platform, with over 1000P computing power resources expected to be aggregated within the next year.

The Chongqing Computing Power Interconnection Platform can interface with the public computing power interconnection service platform, providing core functions such as computing resource information, computing demand release, and supply-demand situation analysis for computing power users.

The Chongqing Computing Power Interconnection Platform will efficiently link computing power service providers with users, continuously promote co-construction within the industrial chain, achieve the interconnection of regional "block" and industry "strip" computing power internet, and facilitate the scheduling and matching of computing power applications and data.
