Liangjiang hosts low-carbon development forum

On March 19, the Liangjiang Low-carbon Digital Energy Development Forum was held in Liangjiang New Area.

Xu Hongqiu, deputy secretary of the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Party Work Committee, stated that the new area is accelerating the exploration of low-carbon park construction, with a forward-looking layout for carbon finance, carbon trading, and other industries.

The area will speed up trials and demonstrations in typical scenarios, energy industries, technological innovation, and trading systems in Longsheng New City. Xu hoped that this event will serve as a platform for high-level exchanges and the expansion of the area's green and low-carbon industrial ecosystem.

Li Jie presented the action plan for building Liangjiang into a leading demonstration area for constructing green and low-carbon digital energy cities. At the forum, companies such as Infypower and Chilwee signed agreements with the new area.

To date, Liangjiang's balance of green loans and green bonds exceeds 200 billion yuan ($27.86 billion) and 15 billion yuan, respectively, both ranking first in the city.
