Since the beginning of this year, the Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone in the Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, has brought in 40 technology companies, 10 fund institutions, and 20 supporting commercial service organizations.
"A new technological revolution led by the digital economy is unfolding, profoundly reshaping human production and lifestyle. Digital technology is playing a significant role in this transformation," said Zhang Yan, commander of the Mingyue Lake construction leading group headquarters in the new area.
Mingyue Lake focuses on six primary industrial directions, including general artificial intelligence, web 3.0, and satellite internet. It leads the way in constructing eight comprehensive major enabling platforms in western China.
By 2024, Mingyue Lake will accelerate the improvement of specialized support policies, vigorously promote investment attraction, increase the injection of funds and attract social funds, focus on promoting the transformation of new research and development institutions, cultivate and develop a group of iconic star enterprises, and become an innovation landmark in Chongqing.
