As the first State-level new special economic development zone in inland China, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area seeks to promote the transformation and upgrading of global synchronization by taking the new opportunity of international industry transfers and adjustments. Moreover, Liangjiang New Area (LNA) is focusing on "the future reality" industry and adhering to innovation incentives.

"The future reality" industry means that Liangjiang New Area is looking forward to new industrial development styles. Recently, the Photoelectric display industry cluster, general aviation, robots and other high-end equipment industries take off rapidly in Liangjiang New Area. Moreover, the electronic and automobile industry has developed on a considerable scale, and the general aviation, robots, shale gas equipment, and biological medicine is developing in tandem. In particular, 3D printing, Internet, and large data will be in overall development over the next three to five years.

Presently, the new area is setting itself up to deal with transnational capital in emerging markets and expand new technology in the field of global layout. Liangjiang New Area has started a pilot management reform of low altitude airspace, and actively explored market orders. The building of the China headquarters of Swiss Pilatus was successfully introduced and the global production line of Pilatus main model PC - 6 will all be moved to Liangjiang New Area from Switzerland. Chongqing’s straight investment company bought the American Ernst Ron helicopter which will be made in Liangjiang New Area.
