Chongqing Liangjiang New Area (LNA) integrates its administrative resources to enhance administrative effectiveness on the basis of the super-ministry system and the Internet. The new sub-bureaus of the Chongqing Land Resources and Housing Management Bureau, Chongqing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Chongqing Municipal Urban Planning Bureau and Chongqing Municipal Local Taxation Bureau were established on June 3 in Liangjiang New Area. Meanwhile, the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau also set up a police office in Liangjiang New Area.

With an emphasis on improving administrative effectiveness, the Chongqing municipal government integrates the local offices of Liangjiang New Area and Northern New Area and merged the two offices.

The integration work carries out the idea of the super-ministry system, of which the key points are to transform administrative functions, integrate resources, streamline government organs and improve administrative effectiveness. After the integration, the coordination of the economic and social affairs in Liangjiang New Area and Northern New Area will increase significantly.

The Internet will be applied in the work of governmental window units. Liangjiang New Area will make further innovation in the examination and approval service mechanism, and the process of examination and approval will be simplified. Liangjiang New Area will promote online examination and approval comprehensively. At present, the Liangjiang New Area administrative approval online hall is undergoing trial operation. Each department will speed up efforts to realize comprehensive online examination and approval.

However, some cases of fake contracted projects and cheated deposits have happened already, leaving a negative impact on the new area and blocking the efficient promotion of development and opening up. Liangjiang New Area is going to set up a police office to strike and contain various illegal and criminal behavior, which is of great importance in building a favorable environment in Liangjiang New Area.
