Gynecology: Chi Yugang

Chi Yugang, male, PhD, is deputy chief physician of obstetrics and gynecology and deputy director of general gynecology of Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children. He specializes in minimally invasive gynecological treatment. Chi graduated from Chongqing Medical University in 2009 with a master's degree in obstetrics and gynecology. In 2013, he took an advanced study at the Hysteroscopy Center of Fu Xing Hospital, Capital Medical University. In 2015, he was admitted to Chongqing Medical University for an in-service doctoral degree. In 2017, he went to the Medical College of Hamburg University for further study.

Chi is a youth member of the Hysteroscopy Group of the Minimally Invasive Branch of the China Maternal and Child Health Association, a member of the Maternal and Child Health Professional Committee of the China Maternal and Child Health Association, a youth member of the Chinese Research-based Hospital Gynecologic Oncology Professional Committee, a member of the Gynecological Artificial Intelligence (AI) Committee of the China Maternal and Child Health Association, and a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Professional Committee of the Chongqing Medical Association.

Chi is good at gynecological laparoscopic surgery and has independently carried out such surgery around 8,000 times, of which about 5,500 involved hysteroscopy.

He was in charge of or participated in six research projects of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission (formerly the Chongqing Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission) and has published more than 30 papers in domestic and foreign journals.
