CNNC agrees to collaborate with Saudi Arabia

Wang Shoujun, chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), and Dr Zohair A Nawab, president of the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS), signed a memorandum of understanding regarding bilateral cooperation on uranium and thorium resources, in the presence of China’s President Xi Jinping and Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on March 16.
CNNC-built nuclear unit passes operation test in Pakistan

Unit 3 of the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant (C-3), the third exported nuclear power plant from the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) along the Belt and Road trade route, passed a reliable demonstrative operation test lasting 100 hours and accomplished the provisional acceptance rating at 3:30 pm on Dec 6 (Beijing Time).

It is the first time passive hydrogen autocatalytic recombiners which were developed by the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), have entered the Russian nuclear market. It is also the first time for the product to be exported to another country with advanced nuclear technology.
