Several nuclear power projects, including the Jinqimen in Zhejiang province, have received official approval. The Jinqimen project will adopt the "Hualong One", China's self-developed third-generation nuclear power technology.

The China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) will follow the principle of putting safety first, advance construction in a steady and orderly manner in accordance with the highest global safety standards and requirements, strengthen comprehensive safety supervision across the entire chain and all areas to ensure absolute safety.

China will further increase support for the innovation and development of the nuclear power industry, comprehensively enhancing the competitiveness of nuclear power equipment-related industries.
