The highly anticipated third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing from Oct 17th to 18th. As the opening event of the forum, the Belt and Road CEO Conference took place on Oct 17th at China National Convention Center, which saw the participation of over 1,200 delegates around the globe.
Yu Jianfeng, chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), attended the conference and signed a memorandum of understanding focusing on nuclear energy cooperation with the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamahmudov. CNNC's China Baoyuan Investment Co., Ltd signed a cooperation project of nuclear technology application with an Indonesian company. CNNC's multiple projects were included in the achievements list of the conference.
Over the past decade, CNNC has actively participated in the Belt and Road Initiative, adhering to innovation-driven, safe, and green development and the approach of consultation and collaboration for shared benefits. CNNC has strengthened nuclear energy cooperation with global partners to jointly promote the sustainable development of the global nuclear energy. CNNC has also expanded the application of nuclear technology in fields such as healthcare, biology, agriculture, and environmental protection, ensuring global ecological civilization construction, energy security, and the health and well-being of people.
