SUFA Technology Industry Co Ltd, a unit of China National Nuclear Corporation, also known as CNNC, donated 5,000 face masks and 2,000 pairs of gloves to medical institutions in Spain on March 26, according to SUFA officials.
They said it was a response to SUFA’s Spanish partner Klinger Saidi Spain, which has done business with SUFA for more than three decades. It sought help from SUFA for novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control materials, officials added.
Gao Aimin, an executive at the overseas sales department of SUFA, said that when the epidemic was extremely serious in China, staff members at their Spanish partner expressed their concern every day and now it was time to help them in return.
Following the dispatching of support supplies, SUFA received 27 emails of thanks from the Spanish company.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic internationally, SUFA has sent consolation letters, also communications providing knowledge about the epidemic making suggestions to its overseas partners in Germany, South Korea, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy and other countries.
The company has donated a total of 9,800 masks and 2,000 pairs of gloves in 18 batches, according to SUFA directors.
