CNNC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Electricite de France during the third Sino-French Seminar on Nuclear Technology Innovation, which was held at Fuqing Nuclear Power Co Ltd from June 24 to 25.
The Nuclear Power Institute of China, affiliated with CNNC, signed a cooperation deal with Electricite de France regarding the analog computation of the glow-induced vibration in steam generator tubes.
According to the MoU, both sides will cooperate in the fields of nuclear safety and additive manufacturing.
The two parties also agreed to found a joint committee, the rotating chairman of which will be appointed by CNNC and Electricite de France alternately. The tenure for the chairman is a year.
The seminar brought together 93 experts from 13 companies and institutes affiliated with CNNC and Electricite de France. They held discussions on nuclear development, nuclear engineering, digital nuclear technology and nuclear safety, and reached a consensus in many areas.
