In Timor-Leste, climate change is causing more frequent and severe draught and flooding, aggravating water scarcity and endangering children's health.
Under the support of the Chinese government, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund is installing water tanks for 25 communities in Timor-Leste.
This initiative is funded by the China International Development Cooperation Agency through the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund.
