On June 7, 2024, witnessed by the leaders of China and Pakistan, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency Luo Zhaohui signed a series of bilateral cooperative documents with Pakistani Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi.

The documents are exchanges of notes on certain China-aided projects in Pakistan, including the establishment of a demonstration project for Juncao planting and three feasibility studies of a women's health workstation project, a school reconstruction project, and an office facility upgrade project of the Pakistani intelligence agency.

During Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's visit to China, Luo signed with Hashmi some other cooperation documents, including an exchange of notes on a China-aided mobile cargo scanning equipment project, and memorandums of understanding on strengthening inter-departmental cooperation in women's health, security, and promoting flood-affected house reconstruction.

The two sides agreed to continue to consolidate and develop the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, strengthen practical cooperation in areas such as people's livelihood, security and people-to-people exchanges, and work together to ensure that the fruits of development continue to benefit the people of both countries.
