On May 31, witnessed by the heads of state of China and Tunisia, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency Luo Zhaohui signed a series of bilateral cooperative documents with Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar.
The documents include an agreement on economic and technological cooperation, a memorandum of understanding on promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative (GDI), and an agreement on healthcare cooperation. The two sides agreed to actively expand cooperation under the GDI framework, focusing on such areas as healthcare, connectivity, climate change, green development, the digital economy and education, as well as to strengthen policy dialogue, experience sharing, capacity building and pragmatic cooperation.
