On May 28, witnessed by the heads of state of China and Equatorial Guinea, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency Luo Zhaohui signed a series of bilateral cooperative documents with Equatorial Guinean Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Diaspora Simeon Oyono Esono Angue.
The documents include an agreement on economic and technological cooperation, a memorandum of understanding on promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and an agreement on human resource development cooperation. The two sides agreed to actively expand cooperation in such areas as poverty reduction, food security, healthcare, green development and human resource development under the GDI framework, strengthen policy dialogue and explore potential cooperation.
