Noting that China and Pakistan are iron-clad brothers, Luo said that the mutual trust and friendship between the two countries are indestructible. Pakistan was one of the first countries to support the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the Global Development Initiative (GDI), according to Luo. Under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor framework, bilateral cooperation has yielded fruitful results, he said, adding that China is ready to work with Pakistan to jointly implement the key consensus between the two heads of state, carry out in-depth assistance cooperation, and accelerate the building of a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.

Kakar extended his appreciation to China for its long-term assistance and support for his country's socioeconomic development. He lauded the CIDCA’s important role and pledged to further cooperation in social, economic and people's livelihoods fields, continue to advance the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and the implementation of the GDI, and inject new impetus into the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic partnership of cooperation.

On Oct 18, in the presence of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Pakistani Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, Luo signed four outcome agreements with the Pakistani side on aviation, health, and post-disaster reconstruction.
