CIDCA chairman addresses 'Visit to the CPPCC by Ambassadors to China' event

On Sept 12, 2023, ambassadors and diplomats from 18 countries neighboring China paid a visit to the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Wang Dongfeng, vice-chairman and secretary-general of the CPPCC National Committee, attended the event and delivered a keynote speech.

The ambassadors and diplomats participated in a thematic forum with CPPCC National Committee members to exchange views on the role of consultation in deepening Belt and Road cooperation.

Luo Zhaohui, a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the CPPCC National Committee and chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, attended the event and delivered a speech themed on high-quality Belt and Road cooperation for all-dimensional common development.

In his speech, Luo introduced some of the major outcomes of the Belt and Road cooperation and called for global action to further implement the initiative, contributing to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
