CIDCA spokesperson: China willing to provide emergency disaster relief assistance to cyclone-hit countries, including Myanmar

On May 15,2023, Xu Wei, spokesperson for the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), said that China is aware that Cyclone Mocha is battering countries including Myanmar. China is in close contact with relevant parties to follow up with the latest information on casualties and damage to property caused by the cyclone, and is willing to provide emergency disaster relief assistance within its means to those countries based on their needs, he said.
