The Office of the Ombudsman of Thailand sent a letter of appreciation to the Chinese government for its successful holding of anti-corruption workshops for developing countries and Belt and Road partners, which concluded recently.
In the letter, the agency acknowledged the success of the events, noting that attending officials from Thailand learned about anti-corruption and public supervision mechanisms and exchanged their experiences. They were much obliged to China for its support and assistance.
The workshops were training programs under the human resources development cooperation framework of China's foreign assistance. Nearly 70 trainees from countries including Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia, attended the workshops online.
