The volume of trade between China and Bangladesh grew robustly in 2021, showing the resilience of the two countries' economic and trade cooperation. China became the largest investor in Bangladesh and ranked first in terms of the number of enterprises in Bangladesh's export processing zones in the same year. Chinese enterprises have created thousands of employment opportunities for the Bangladeshi people and organized various forms of training activities for the country to utilize and tap into its human resources.

Noting that the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation aligns with building a "Golden Bangladesh", Song said that China is willing to strengthen the synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Bangladesh's Vision 2041, share its experiences and advanced technologies, and deepen bilateral cooperation in all sectors.
