He also introduced the China-proposed Global Development Initiative and the Global Development Promotion Center.

In the current context of the intertwined global changes and pandemic, both unseen in a century, China and Trinidad and Tobago need to work together to overcome difficulties, Zhao said, adding that China is willing to work with Trinidad and Tobago to strengthen the anti-pandemic and development cooperation, actively promote the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and push forward development cooperation and relations between the two countries.

Low said that Trinidad and Tobago sincerely thanked the Chinese government for the support and help it has been giving.
