Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz posted on social media that the shipment of materials, like previous aid shipments, is another reflection of the friendship and solidarity between the two governments, parties and peoples, and will play an important role in helping Cuba fight the COVID-19 pandemic. People from all walks of life in Cuba gave a positive response to the shipment of materials.

Chinese Ambassador to Cuba Ma Hui said that China and Cuba are good friends, comrades and brothers through thick and thin. China will continue to support Cuba in fighting the pandemic, developing its economy and improving its people's livelihoods so as to make China-Cuba relations a model of cooperation among developing countries and socialist countries.
