CIDCA spokesperson: China ready to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Tonga

Xu Wei, spokesperson of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), said China is highly concerned about the disasters like tsunami and volcanic ash in Tonga following the recent volcanic eruption, and extends sincere condolences to Tonga's government and people.

The Chinese government stands ready to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Tonga at its request, and to support and help to the best of its ability with Tonga’s post-disaster reconstruction.
