China to provide medical supplies to help ROK tackle coronavirus outbreak

On Mar 6, Xing Haiming, Chinese ambassador to the Republic of Korea, met with a senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (ROK), to express China’s decision to support the ROK government and tackle the COVID-19 outbreak by providing medical supplies.

Xing said that China and the ROK are friendly neighbors. China thanks ROK for its support and assistance in fighting the epidemic, and is willing to work with the ROK to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, help each other, strengthen cooperation, and push the China-ROK strategic partnership to a higher level.

The ROK people are suffering from COVID-19 and thank China for its warm support, and it believes that through joint cooperation the two sides can overcome the epidemic at an early date, according to the ROK side.
