Suzman said that the Gates Foundation attaches great importance to cooperation with China and hopes to strengthen exchanges in the fields of agriculture and health under the framework of a cooperation memorandum of understanding signed with CIDCA in November 2018 in which the parties pledged together to help developing countries achieve sustainable development.
Zhang said that the CIDCA is willing to strengthen exchanges with the Gates Foundation to discuss pragmatic cooperation in areas of common concern, share China's good experience and technology in agriculture and health, and help developing countries enhance their capacity for independent development, thus making a positive contribution to the implementation of the United Nation’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
