The 2023 Beijing Daxing Yongding River Marathon held in Beijing's Daxing district, attracted about 10,000 runners from home and abroad who took part in the competition along a scenic and recreational running track on Oct 22.

This event featured three categories including a full marathon, a half marathon and a health run for parent-child participants.

In the end, Chinese runner Guan Yousheng clinched first place in the men's full race, while Norah Chebet from Kenya won in the women's division.

For half marathon, Victor Kibet Mutai from Kenya won the men's championship; Chinese runner Xia Yuyu overtook the race in the last kilometer and took the crown in the women's race.

The organizer recruited a total of 1,650 volunteers and set 25 fixed medical points, 20 ambulance points to fully ensure the safety of contestants.
