On Sept 4, Beijing's Daxing district held a global investment promotion conference at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), which was held in Beijing from Sept 2 to 6.

Leaders from the capital's Party committee and government, representatives of domestic and foreign-funded enterprises, and experts and scholars from all over the country gathered to discuss innovation, cooperation, and development.

This conference aims to further enhance the district's attractiveness to foreign investment and trade, promote cutting-edge technology and high-end industries, and support its growing enterprises.

In the exhibition area of the fair, various high-tech enterprises from Daxing district showcased their flagship products and innovative achievements.

Liu Yang, deputy head of Daxing district, and representatives from industrial parks, including the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone, the Beijing Daxing Economic Development Zone, the Beijing Daxing Biomedical Industry Base, and the Beijing China-Japan Innovation and Cooperation Demonstration Zone, signed project cooperation and investment contracts with 42 corporate representatives. This included five foreign-invested projects with a total estimated investment of $120 million.

Compared to the previous year, the number of signed companies has greatly increased. In the coming years, these companies are expected to bring nearly $1.5 billion in investment to Daxing District, covering areas such as cell technology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, the information and software industry, virtual reality, specialized equipment manufacturing, AI research and development, and construction engineering.

During the conference, 15 corporate representatives from Daxing district received financial support, and the support policy implementation reflects the district's earnest expectations and sincerity in promoting business and production.

Wang Youguo, Party Secretary of the district, extended a warm invitation to entrepreneurs, investors, and friends from all walks of life to visit and conduct business in Daxing.
