Beijing's Fengtai Railway Station, built in 1895, will reopen to the public on Monday after four years of reconstruction work. It will be Asia's largest rail transport hub, the local government said on Thursday.

The station had served several important lines before operations were suspended in 2010. Reconstruction began in September 2018.

The station now covers 400,000 square meters and can hold up to 14,000 passengers in the waiting room.
