Daxing vaccinates 80 percent of population against coronavirus
As of 9:50 am on March 27, about 808,000 residents in Beijing's Daxing district have received jabs against the COVID-19 virus, among which 461,000 were vaccinated in two complete doses.
It is the first district in the capital whose coverage rate of vaccination reached 80 percent and that ensured collective defense.
Key areas including the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone and the biomedical industry base have achieved full coverage of vaccination.
The district will continue to roll out vaccination programs, epidemic prevention and resumption of work and production, speeding up the inoculation for new returnees and college teachers and students.
