The Daxing section, covering an area of 4.3 square kilometers, will include a port , a bonded area and the related auxiliary facilities around the Beijing Daxing International Airport.
The bonded area is a pilot zone and an important vector for the coordinated development of Beijing and Hebei province. It is set to accept efficient and service-oriented management by governments, administrative committees and investment corporations from both sides.
In the future, Daxing will take advantage of the preferential policies of the pilot free trade zone and the expansion of the service sector, promoting specific projects such as cold chain and pharmaceutical distribution centers, an international transfer center, a cross-border e-commerce center, and a medicine industry bonded research and development base, through integrated customs supervision and other mechanisms.
