The groundbreaking ceremony for a five-star hotel was held in Yinghai, a town in the city’s Daxing district on Oct 15.

Construction of the Beijing Daxing Jianguo Hotel and two commercial buildings is on schedule. The hotel will have a banquet hall and a conference hall, and the entire project will cover about four hectares. After completion, it is expected to become a local landmark.

Completion of the project is scheduled for 2024. It will take on domestic and international reception work and will serve as an important commercial service support facility for the China-Japan International Cooperation Industrial Park.

Also, it is likely to offer employment opportunities for local residents and help to inspire high-end talents to promote various undertakings in Yinghai.
