A new Peking Opera work Li Dazhao recently debuted in a cultural activity service center in Beijing’s Daxing district. It was also simultaneously livestreamed online.
The opera, created by the Jingju Theater Company of Beijing Daxing, tells a story of revolutionary struggle in memory of Li Dazhao, a founding member of the Communist Party of China.
It was also the center’s first public activity after resuming operation, made possible by the decline in the COVID-19 outbreak.
Ahead of the show, the service center prepared various epidemic prevention measures to welcome the audience with a comfortable and reassuring environment including ticket sales restrictions, seating plans and disinfections.
