An online roadshow for a Beijing-based entrepreneurship competition recently wrapped up having gathered over 64,000 views in the city’s Daxing district. Eight projects stood out and were recommended to a municipal race.

The activity, sponsored by the district’s human resources and social security authority, aims to encourage local small, medium and micro enterprises to achieve stable development by strengthening innovation vision.

In addition to financial incentives, the high-quality projects emerging in the competition received priority support from the sponsor for publicity and promotion, training and guidance, exchanges and exhibitions, talent recruitment, venture capital, and incubation.

The Daxing competition area has attracted lots of enterprises and teams, and its registration number ranks second in the city.

After a preliminary review, 32 superior projects in new materials, telemedicine, drones, robotics, new agriculture and new media were highlighted and qualified for the next round of online roadshows, according to the review committee’s written report.

The competition was conducted under normalized epidemic prevention and control through a video conference and a webcast, and proceeded by video playing, online defenses, and scoring.

In recent years, the district has taken innovation as the lead, focusing on the development of entire industrial chains and clusters.

Meanwhile, continuous efforts have been made to strengthen cultivation of its homegrown enterprises and to offer higher-quality services in pursuit of a business environment that fully benefits enterprises and people.
