Daxing district is working on a unified epidemic control and prevention map system to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) and ensure safety of its residents when they resume working.

Qinshuiying village, located in Changziying town of Daxing district, has more than 1,400 people, or 400 households. Being close to the Beijing E-town Development Zone, the village has a large migrant population, and is facing great pressure of curbing the disease, which was also named by WHO as COVID-19.

To increase management, the Qinshuiying village launched a special map, on which residents and those coming to the village get their own color categorized by green, blue or pink. The colors are based on residential information.

The red color on the map indicates the location of the CPC member families, the blue color means the villagers' representative families, the dark pink signifies houses rented to Hubei people who have not returned to Beijing, and the dark green indicates the houses of those who have returned.

People living in dark pink or dark green areas must undergo 14 days of quarantine.

Classifying residential places helped the efforts of making policies and taking preventative measures to focus on curbing the novel coronavirus spread in key areas.

The colored map makes the village layout survey more orderly. With its help, the village can be managed more effectively.

In addition, a flow chart providing professional protection notices has been posted in Yangfang village in Weishanzhuang town of Daxing district and has attracted special attention.

The main task for Yangfang village is to conduct strict management over the entry and exit of vehicles and people.

The CPC branch committee of Yangfang village conducts general public inspection, data collection, and reporting on a daily basis. It has also inquired residents in the village through telephone calls and visits.

Yangfang village can analyze all kinds of personnel health information in a timely manner, so as to summarize and update the results of epidemic control and prevention on a daily basis.

"Supported by the epidemic prevention and control map, we can do our work more clearly," said a working staff in Tiangongyuan Xingyu community of Daxing district.

The community also formed a chart with different  colors  to indicate the  possibility levels of virus incubation risk of different families and shops.
