The global finals of the 6th Belt and Road Youth English Speaking Competition were recently held in Wuxi, and 32 international contestants participated in a meaningful cultural exchange from Oct 17 to 19 in Wuxi New District.
The event allowed participants to immerse themselves in China's rich culture and art and learn about WND's economic development and history through various activities, including exploring nature, visiting cultural sites, and enjoying artistic performances.
At the Song Art Museum, the international finalists were captivated by its minimalist design and the serene Chinese Zen-inspired landscaping. They closely examined each artwork, experiencing a fusion of contemporary Chinese and foreign art, culture, and philosophy.

In Meili Ancient Town and the Meili Site Museum, the contestants marveled at the well-preserved ruins and valuable artifacts unearthed there. They also enjoyed an erhu performance, learned to sing Xiju Opera, and felt the profound power of music.
