On Oct 16, Bosch Powertrain Systems marked its 20th anniversary in Wuxi, with the celebration highlighting the establishment of Bosch's China headquarters for its commercial vehicle business unit in Wuxi New District.
The new headquarters aims to advance the research and industrialization of diverse commercial vehicles, providing comprehensive technical solutions for various powertrain systems, intelligent chassis, and advanced driver assistance systems.
Over the past two decades, Bosch has firmly established its presence in Wuxi, continuously pursuing localized development. The company has launched several key projects in the region, including a powertrain business, automotive systems, and joint ventures like United Automotive Electronic Systems.

Wuxi has now become a crucial base for Bosch's powertrain systems and commercial vehicle businesses in China.
In Wuxi New District, Bosch has established three fully-owned and joint venture companies. The company built China's first commercial vehicle common-rail base and technical center, opened Wuxi's first world-class lighthouse factory, and launched its first hydrogen fuel cell center outside Germany in the district.
