Bollhoff (China) Fastenings Co Ltd, located in Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, also known as Wuxi New District, launched its 20th-anniversary celebrations on June 4.
Established in 2004, this subsidiary of Germany's Bollhoff Group has become a key player in intelligent manufacturing, specializing in fasteners and automation devices for the automotive and industrial sectors. Over the past two decades, the Wuxi facility has grown into a regional headquarters encompassing research and development, intelligent manufacturing, and sales.
In response to increasing business demands from the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets, Bollhoff commenced the fifth phase of upgrades to its WND production base in 2021. This project, now completed and operational, represents an additional investment of 325 million yuan ($44.86 million). Upon reaching full capacity, it will produce 110 million automotive fasteners annually, generating an estimated 190 million yuan in annual sales.
Senior executives of Bollhoff highlighted the significant achievements in business operations, diversity, social contributions, and industry leadership over the past 20 years, attributing this success to support from WND government. They also expressed strong confidence in further development within the district, emphasizing a continued focus on local market opportunities.
Currently, WND hosts 1,827 foreign-funded enterprises, with 68 Fortune Global 500 companies investing in 128 projects.
