WND boosts beauty, health industries with new partnerships

From May 24 to 26, Wuxi hosted the 2024 China Conference of Cosmetics Science and Technology and the China Science-Technology Symposium on Fragrance and Flavor Industry.

The event featured a range of activities, including forums with academicians and experts, a scientist forum, a cosmetics formulator skills demonstration, and a preliminary perfumers' competition.

During the event, companies such as Dexter and Rayting signed agreements to establish their presence in the Wuxi Beauty and Health Industrial Park. This park, developed by Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, also known as Wuxi New District, in collaboration with Jiangnan University, focuses on the research and development of functional ingredients and high-end formulations. It integrates headquarters, production, sales, R&D, design, exhibition, trade, and testing into one comprehensive business cluster.

Additionally, companies including Hunter Biotech, GRG Metrology and Test, and Sinomune Pharmaceutical signed on as ecosystem partners for the industrial park.

The conference also saw the district release policies to support the high-quality development of the beauty and health industries. The policies aim to cultivate industry clusters, foster an innovation-friendly environment, and enhance the technological innovation, competitiveness, brand influence of the beauty and health industry in WND.
