Wuxi hosts event promoting cultural exchanges

On April 10, an event dedicated to promoting Chinese culture and fostering cross-cultural exchange took place in Xinwu district, Wuxi.

International students from Wuxi Vocational College of Science and Technology visited the Meicun Erhu Industrial Park, where they experienced the complete process of creating the erhu, a traditional Chinese instrument. They were guided through the steps from selecting the materials to crafting the instrument and, finally, learning to play it. The students then visited the Taibo Temple, where they learned about the temple's history and significance.

During a discussion session, the international students shared their experiences living and studying in China and discussed their understanding of erhu art and Chinese traditional culture. They expressed admiration for Chinese culture and an enthusiasm for exploring it further.
