(wndonline.cn)Updated: 2023-09-28

Two enterprises based in Wuxi New District have seen their products play pivotal roles in ensuring the ongoing 19th Asian Games are a success.

Smart Drive Sensing (Wuxi) Co Ltd, an innovative company specializing in radar technology, has developed a radar water level gauge that is being used in the Wenzhou Dragon Boat Center, the venue of the Asian Games' dragon boat racing.

Situated in a coastal region, the dragon boat center is susceptible to threats posed by typhoons and heavy rainfall during the flood season. To ensure the safety of the center, Smart Drive Sensing's radar water level gauge, renowned for its precision, low power consumption, high signal-to-noise ratio, and adaptability to extreme conditions, can enable real-time river water level monitoring throughout the Asian Games.

Wuxi Silent Electric System (SES) Technology Co Ltd, also based in the WND, has supplied seven custom-built tourist boats to the Asian Games. These vessels are set to offer a novel and eco-friendly experience to domestic and international visitors. The fleet includes four new energy-powered tourist boats, two 28-meter all-electric boats, and one 25-meter all-electric passenger ship.
