The Green Hydrogen Innovation Development Forum took place in Xinwu district, or Wuxi National Hi-tech District, in Wuxi on Sept 12.

Cui Rongguo, Party secretary of Xinwu, said in his speech that in recent years, the district has developed a hydrogen industry that spans multiple domains, including hydrogen production, fuel cells, and hydrogen-powered vehicles. An entire industrial chain involving research, development, testing, and operational services has also been established.

The forum brought together domestic hydrogen companies, government officials, and industry experts who engaged in extensive discussions on market demands, future trends, and application scenarios. These discussions are expected to foster a broad exchange of insights and experiences, and contribute significantly to accelerating Xinwu district's growth into a leading innovation hub for China's green hydrogen industry, added Cui.

During the event, Longi Hydrogen unveiled its next-generation alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment, the ALK G Series. This product line targets companies involved in chemical, metallurgical, and refinery industries who have huge demands for hydrogen. With capacities ranging from 1200 Nm³/h to 3000Nm³/h, the ALK G Series boasts significant advantages such as reduced size, lighter weight, more stable performance and lower energy consumption.

In his remarks, Li Zhenguo, president of Longi Hydrogen, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by Xinwu district in facilitating the establishment, completion, and stable operation of Longi's hydrogen equipment project. He affirmed Longi's commitment to making further contributions to the district.

As part of their commitment, Longi Hydrogen and Xingguo Precision Machine Parts Co Ltd signed a strategic cooperation agreement and a purchase agreement for a 3000Nm³/h electrolysis cell. Both parties will collaborate on addressing common key issues in the application of green hydrogen in the metallurgical industry.
