Regulations on optimizing the business environment will take effect on May 1 in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, marking the city's efforts to make business activities more legalized and standardized.
Its business environment is the core competitiveness of a city and in recent years Wuxi has rolled out a series of related efficient reform measures, while the number of market entities in the city has exceeded 1.1 million.

However, there were still some problems encountered by local businesses in daily operations, so Wuxi authorities published the regulations.
They include 88 items and make specific provisions pertaining to the business and social environments, administrative services, supervision and guaranteed law enforcement.

Local authorities will formulate detailed plans to better implement the regulations in the near future.
