Jabil Circuit (Wuxi) Co, located in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District Integrated Free Trade Zone, has managed to improve efficiency by more than 10 percent by using "smart vehicles" to transport products.
The smart vehicles, colored orange and black, move in an orderly manner, stacking products to a certain height before moving automatically to the loading area. If the car encounters obstacles or personnel, it stops automatically and resumes its original route when the path is clear.
Such a scene attracted a group of foreign reporters from countries including Japan and Kazakhstan, who took part in the "Show Jiangsu" interview event on Feb 21.
