WND business delegation achieves fruitful results in Japan, South Korea

The first overseas business delegation sponsored by Wuxi National Hi-tech District returned from its trip on Jan 13.

During the eight-day trip, the delegation visited over 50 companies and met with more than 200 clients in South Korea and Japan, including companies such as SK, LG Chem, Panasonic, Sony, Murata, Sharp, and Sumitomo Chemicals.

Agreements for eight projects with an investment of over $1 billion were signed during the visit. In addition, projects worth over $7.5 billion in key areas such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, new materials, intelligent equipment, and the metaverse were discussed.

The delegation also hosted two business promotions in Seoul and Tokyo to introduce the business environment and development situation of major industries in WND. Many business executives showed a strong desire to visit WND in recent days to communicate more.
