WND lists provincial blockchain industry development cluster

The Wuxi National Hi-tech District was listed as a blockchain industry development cluster in Jiangsu province, the provincial department of industry and information technology announced on Dec 22.

The listed zones have a strong foundation in the blockchain industry and promote industrial agglomeration.

In recent years, WND has deployed blockchain and other strategic emerging industries and improved the regional competitiveness of the blockchain industry.

Starting in 2014, an increasing number of blockchain companies, related industrial organizations, and scientific research institutions have been established in WND, and the district has basically established a public service system for the blockchain industry. The average annual growth rate of blockchain business revenue in the past two years has reached 24.35 percent in WND.

WND also supports and promotes the industrial application of blockchain technology. The district has already developed applications for blockchain in finance, public services, and medical services.
