WND expects talent from France

The Wuxi National Hi-tech District hosted an online high-level talent and project exchange conference with guests in Lyon, France on Nov 26.

The event aimed to attract overseas market-oriented talent and high-quality projects, as well as expand the overseas visibility of WND.

Cui Rongguo, director of the management committee of WND, said WND is now a hub for modern industries, opening-up, innovation and entrepreneurship. It has taken the lead in launching a plan to attract foreigners and overseas returnees to the country, and has established a national-level overseas high-level talent innovation and entrepreneurship base.

Cui added that WND has an exclusive "Feifeng Talent Plan", which provides full-cycle entrepreneurial services. The district also boasts cutting-edge technology and innovation carriers such as the Wuxi Overseas Students Pioneer Park, and provides rental subsidies and 24-hour free services. The modern living facilities allow all talent who come to the zone to concentrate on innovation and entrepreneurship.

Ma Fan, chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Lyon, France, expected the event to provide a platform for talent in France to learn more about the business and living environment of WND.

During the event, business representatives talked with the French talent team about the operational model and development prospects of 13 scientific and technological projects. They also discussed cooperation, investment and financing.
