WND launches national platform on health protection

China's safety and health protection product quality verification and traceability public service platform was launched in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District on Sept 23.

The platform was built by Jiangsu Guojian Wuma Technology Co and authorized by the China Textile Business Association. It is made up of various systems including traceability, supervision, and a data display center.

The platform assigns objects with codes that allow for the collection and tracking of data such as raw material, production process, warehousing, logistics, market supervision and sales.

As of August 2021, the platform has assisted more than 30 companies in the industry and issued 3 million traceable anti-counterfeiting QR code labels, covering more than 300 products in seven categories such as protective clothing and safety shoes.

Shan Chunchang, former head of the specialist team for emergency management with the State Council, said that the establishment of the platform is an important measure that benefits production and sales companies in all industries and users of personal protective equipment.

Li Jianhua, director of China Textile Business Association, said the platform was built to improve the traceability of product quality of personal protective equipment.

WND Party Secretary Jiang Min said the platform is an innovation application of the integration of the internet of things technology and textile industry.
