Wuxi Spectrum Vision Technology Co, which focuses on optoelectronic technologies and products, was launched at China Sensor Network International Innovation Park in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District on Sept 15.
The company was co-built by Jiangsu Dualix Spectral Imaging Technology Co and Changchun Champion Optics Co. It was the first industrialized project of the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Based on spectroscopic filters, the company has integrated the advantages of the two companies, with the goal of developing into a leading domestic hyperspectral system solutions provider that focuses on a spectral camera featuring a miniaturized, lightweight, as well as integrated design.
The company's products enjoy a wide application range involving smart agriculture, smart water affairs, industrial sorting, criminal evidence identification, archaeology, food testing, and other fields.
Zhang Zhitao, chairman of Wuxi Spectrum Vision Technology Co, said that WND's good business environment appealed to the company. Other advantages included WND's complete industrial chain of integrated circuits and the internet of things, which can support the innovative development of hyperspectral technology.
During the opening ceremony, the company displayed airborne hyperspectral products, released new product reports, and issued the results of surveys on hyperspectral applications in water resources monitoring.
