Wuxi's leading industrial firm to move to WND

Wuxi Huaguang Environment and Energy Group Co Ltd, a time-honored leading industrial enterprise of Wuxi, will be wholly relocated to Wangzhuang sub-district in Wuxi National Hi-tech District, according to a signing ceremony held on June 25.

According to the deal, the company will build its new base on Meiyu Road. The new base will be equipped with a physical and chemical test and measurement center, a welding test and training center, as well as about 230 sets of production equipment used on new automatic production lines for serpentine tubes, digital flaw detection production lines, CNC drilling machines, paint production lines, trolley heat treatment furnaces (gas), 4Me linear accelerators, and other flaw detection equipment. About 900 sets of original process equipment will be used and modified.

Cui Rongguo, director of WND, said that the move will serve as a new start for the company to achieve high-quality development. The local government of WND will provide full support to the construction of the project, Cui added.

Jiang Zhijian, chairman of the company, spoke highly of the business environment of WND. Jiang said that the company will invest more in the construction of the new headquarters and in R&D.

Founded in 1958, Wuxi Huaguang Environment and Energy Group Co Ltd was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in July 2003. The company is mainly engaged in the new energy and environmental protection industries.
