Xinwu district promotes joy of reading

A reading activity took place in Taihu Bay Sci-tech Innovation City on April 25, kicking off the 2021 Xinwu District National Reading Event.

During the event, Xinwu released the "Reading Map" it compiled to recommend favorable reading places. Mao Chunrong, deputy director of the Municipal Press and Publication Bureau (Copyright Bureau), awarded plaques to the eight new reading points.

Xinwu will carry out a series of reading activities with a gradual effort to build the "1+3+10+N" cultural and sports facilities system. Each sub-district will organize a special reading activity that allows various ways of participating and delivers diversified reading experiences. It is hoped the local reading enthusiasm can be ignited and intellectual pleasures rediscovered.
